Natasha Wally to join Lloyd's South Africa

18 May 2018 Cameron Murray, Lloyd's
Natasha Wally.

Natasha Wally.

I am pleased to confirm the appointment of Natasha Wally as Lloyd’s General Representative and Country Manager for South Africa. Natasha takes up her new position on 1 June.

Natasha brings over 20 years’ experience in insurance, with a particular focus on general insurance, risk financing and broking across a variety of functions, both locally and globally. She is therefore well positioned to lead Lloyd’s relationships with government and the new Prudential Authority and Financial Services Conduct Authority, and to develop our insurance and reinsurance business in South Africa in partnership with Lloyd’s loyal community of Coverholders and brokers. I know Natasha is excited to meet those of you she doesn’t already know, and I have no doubt you will give her your support as she takes up her role.

Natasha succeeds John Sibanda who left Lloyd’s on 30 April after 10 years in the post of General Representative and more recently also Country Manager. John made an outstanding contribution and his time at Lloyd’s will be remembered with great affection by his friends and colleagues both in London and South Africa. He leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Lloyd’s South Africa.
