Mutual & Federal Operations Executive resigns, new successor appointed

Mutual & Federal, a member of the Old Mutual Group, has announced the resignation of Kevin Wright, Operations Executive effective 31 December 2013. Wright will be relocating to Cape Town in early 2014. Raimund Snyders, Mutual & Federal Chief Executive Officer, thanked Wright for his contribution to the organisation, including implementing a new Commercial IT system in the company. “I would like to thank Kevin for his contribution over the last two years and wish him and his family all the best for the future,” Snyders said.

Snyders also confirmed a new replacement for Wright. Michelé Schliesser has been appointed as the new Operations Executive, effective 1 November 2013. Schliesser is currently working in the Isle Of Man in the UK on secondment by Old Mutual to Royal Skandia Business Services heading up their Internal Operations division. She has been with Old Mutual since 1985 and has fulfilled various roles in IT, Contact Centre Management, LEAN and process optimisation. "With her experience, I believe that Michelé will make a significant impact on our business as we aim to enhance our technological capability and deliver service excellence to our customers and brokers,” Snyders concluded.
