Mutual & Federal makes a strategic IT appointment
Mutual & Federal, one of South Africa’s oldest and most respected short-term insurers recently appointed Brendan Clark as the group manager of IT Architecture.
Clark has worked for Mutual & Federal since 2006 as the Manager for Infrastructure Architecture. Part of his responsibilities included Project Management, Internal IT Project Consulting, Infrastructure Research and Recommendation and Articulation of Business Requirements into solutions.
He also successfully managed the testing initiative of the IBM server hardware that was eventually chosen as the preferred platform to host the new single insurance application for Mutual & Federal. His managerial excellence came to the fore when he successfully led a team in the delivery of the final phase of the SIS foundation project including arranging and managing the negative testing of the SIS IT infrastructure.
Clark is excited about this new appointment and was quoted as saying,
