Mutual & Federal Appoints New Chief Risk Officer

Mutual & Federal, one of South Africa’s leading short-term insurers appointed Paul Hancock, B.Com., B.Compt (Hons.), C.A. (S.A.),C.I.A.,

to the position of general manager: Risk - with effect from 1 January 2010. He formerly held the position of group manager: Risk Finance.

Hancock is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors in South Africa (IIA SA).

Since joining Mutual & Federal in 1998 as the Chief Internal Auditor, Hancock has added immense value to the strategic and operational functions of the Company.

“I am confident that I will continue to bring value to the Company knowing that I have the backing and support of my colleagues.

I look forward to the exciting opportunities that 2010 will undoubtedly bring,” says Hancock.
