Muitheri Wahome appointed as Head of Alexander Forbes Asset Consultants

The Alexander Forbes Asset Consultants division today announced the appointment of Muitheri Wahome as head of the division, with immediate effect.

Wahome is currently Head of Manager Research & Performance Surveys.

She holds a MBA and a BComm. (Hons) Insurance Option and has been with Alexander Forbes for more than seven years. An established industry leader, she is a member of both the Alexander Forbes investment consulting committee and the Alexander Forbes Group’s investment policy committee and has a seat on the Editorial Board of Collective Insight, which provides insights from investment professionals.

Wahome was named Top Consultant by the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) in both 2004 and 2006. In the 2004’s Financial Mail Fund Management Survey for the third quarter, she was rated one of the top-20 most influential black industry players in South Africa.

In 2005, Wahome was appointed to the Collective Investment Schemes Advisory Committee by the Minister of Finance, Trevor Manuel.
