Metropolitan Asset Managers has announced the appointment of Craig Whittle as the new Senior Portfolio Manager with effect from January 2008.
Craig started his investment career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London in 1998, later joining Coronation Fund Managers as a senior research analyst in the industrial team and more recently he held the role of portfolio manager for the Old Mutual High Yield Fund as well as institutional small cap portfolios at the Old Mutual Investment Group (OMIGSA). Craig holds a CA (SA) qualification. He will also manage the Metropolitan Industrial Unit Trust Fund and small/mid cap portfolios at Metropolitan Asset Manager (MetAM).
