Executive Directors Paul Coetzee, Bianca Botes and Paul Muller

Peregrine Treasury Solutions is delighted to announce that Bianca Botes, Paul Coetzee and Paul Muller have each been appointed to the position of Executive Director, effective from 01 April 2020.

We would like to congratulate them on their new positions, and are confident that their inclusion on the board of directors will add tremendous value to the continued success of our business as we seek to deliver world-class, holistic treasury solutions to our clients.

• Bianca Botes

Bianca began her career as a treasury consultant, and later became Head of Treasury for Exchange Capital. She then joined Peregrine Treasury Solutions in March 2016, where she is responsible for assisting clients in successfully navigating financial markets through mitigating exchange rate risks and implementing appropriate hedging strategies.

Bianca is currently working towards completing her CFP®, after which she will focus on completing her CFA®. While financial markets are her biggest passion, she also enjoys switching off by exercising, travelling and indulging in a good book.

• Paul Coetzee

Paul began his working career in the agricultural sector as a consultant, and from 1999 to 2006 he served as Managing Director of Ocean Agri Science. In 2006 he joined Impex Treasury Solutions as a marketer and dealer, before being appointed to the role of director. Following the acquisition of Impex Treasury Solutions, Paul joined Peregrine Treasury Solutions as Treasury Manager in April 2017. He also has experience as an independent financial advisor.

Paul lives with his family in Wellington in the Western Cape, and is a keen sportsman who enjoys golf, tennis and cricket, as well as walking and enjoying the outdoors.

• Paul Muller

Paul joined Peregrine Treasury Solutions in April 2017 following the acquisition of Impex Treasury Solutions – a business he started in 2004. His roots may be firmly in the Western Cape, but Paul began his career in banking in London at Gartmore Investments before moving to Barclays Capital. After two years in London, Paul then joined Standard Corporate and Investment Bank in Johannesburg, which introduced him to forex trading, before joining the Standard Risk and Treasury Management Services start up and later Nedcor Investment Bank.

Paul loves spending quality time with his family and friends in the Western Cape, and family holidays are mostly spent at Hermanus or travelling. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, exercise and living an outdoor lifestyle.
