Marsh appoints Christos Adamantiadis as CEO of combined Middle East and Africa Region

Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and innovative risk management solutions, today announced that it had appointed Christos Adamantiadis as CEO of a newly-combined Middle East and Africa region. Based in Dubai, he will join Marsh on 1 May and report to Flavio Piccolomini, President of Marsh International.

In this role, Mr. Adamantiadis will assume responsibility for all of Marsh’s operations across the Middle East and Africa, ensuring that clients have access to the full range of Marsh’s marketleading services and solutions. He brings 25-year of management experience, most recently as CEO of Dubai-based Oman Insurance Company (OIC), a leading composite insurer in the Middle
East. Previously, he spent 20 years at AIG, overseeing its operations in several geographies including the Middle East, North Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Russia.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Piccolomini said: “Marsh is committed to delivering superior value for clients wherever they operate. By uniting our businesses in the Middle East and across Africa, we will be able to better leverage the talents and expertise of Marsh colleagues for the benefit of clients.

“With a strong track record of serving firms across a range of developing geographies, Christos is the well-placed to deliver the services and solutions clients need to meet the challenges of the fast-changing risk landscape across the region.”
