Mantshimuli named Insurance economist at Liberty

Tendani Mantshimuli (pictured) has been appointed economist to support the Liberty Insurance executive, with primary focus on strategic insights into economic developments and business cycle factors most likely to affect policyholders, their savings, investments and risk provision.

She was previously senior economist at the South African Reserve Bank and until recently was a member of the South African Statistics Council.

Tendani Mantshimuli joined SARB in 1999 as an economist and was later appointed head of the national accounts division.

She is a former lecturer at the University of Limpopo and holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Kentucky. She also holds a BA Honours in economics.
