Telesure Investment Holdings today announced the appointment of Manny Rios as its Chief Executive Officer.
Rios joins Telesure from Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States where he was the President and CEO of American Modern Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Munich Re. At American Modern, Rios was credited with successfully introducing several large technical initiatives along with improving bottom line performance and growing the business.
Prior to this, Rios held various positions at Allstate Insurance Company, served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at United Services Auto Association (USAA) and was the Chief Underwriting Officer at Homesite Insurance.
At Telesure, Rios will be responsible for the success of the Telesure group which comprises the following portfolios: Telesure (Short-Term Insurance, Financial Services and 1Life), Telesure Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi in Turkey, Steyn City Properties, and The Saxon Hotel.
These subsidiaries have an established team of CEOs in place - Tom Creamer (Telesure’s Short-Term Insurance businesses), Laurence Hillman (1Life and Telesure Financial Services), Bradley Du Chenne (Telesure Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi ), Giuseppe Plumari (Steyn City Properties) and George Cohen (The Saxon Hotel). Together, their sights are firmly set on taking the group to even greater heights.
