Lesiba Ledwaba has been promoted to Head of Property Portfolio Management at Ashburton Investments.

After playing a leading role in the management of Ashburton's property portfolio over the past four years, the new role is a natural progression for him within the investment team.

He joined Ashburton Investments in 2012 and has 10 years’ experience in the investment industry. After graduating, Lesiba was a graduate trainee at Investec Private Clients Securities. He began his career at BJM Private Clients on the equity dealing desk and subsequently became a Fund Manager primarily responsible for listed property research and modelling.

His previous employers include various financial institutions such as RMB Private Bank.

Lesiba graduated with a BCom degree in 2002 from the University of the Witwatersrand. He also holds a Financial Markets and Instruments National Diploma from the Academy of Financial Markets.
