Leroy Munetsi new COO for Absa Life

Leroy Munetsi  has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Absa Life .

Leroy joined Absa as a Business Performance Consultant (Group Finance) in August 2006. He soon took up the position in the New Business Cluster as a Project Manager in early 2007 and then moved to Absa Life in 2008 to become Executive Assistant to the Managing Executive: Absa Life.

Leroy has assisted with the continued development of a progressive and supportive culture within our business, taking ownership of certain support functions, which has led to his new role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Absa Life.

Leroy’s previous work experience includes appointments at Standard Bank where he served as a Senior Financial Manager in Group Finance and financial roles in companies such as MTN Group, Cadburys and Innscor Africa.

Leroy’s experience is supported by a sound academic background. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Andrews University (USA) and an MBA from the Wits Business School.
