JSE appoints Noah Greenhill

Noah Greenhill has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the JSE as the Senior General Manager: Marketing and Business Development with effect from 1 July 2006.

Noah joined the JSE in 2000 and is well known as the face of AltX, the alternative exchange which attracts small, medium and growing companies.  As the JSEs current Business Development Manager, Noah has built a track record of attracting new companies to list on the JSE. 

Geoff Rothschild will be assuming full time responsibility for the JSEs governmental and international affairs as the Director: Government and International Affairs.   Geoff will remain on the JSEs Executive Committee as well as the Board of Directors.

In announcing these appointments, Russell Loubser commented that: Our listing has emphasised the real need for us to place more focus on the JSEs stakeholder relationships as well as more focus on the importance and attractiveness both regionally and internationally of South Africas financial markets.  I look forward to working with Noah and Geoff as they work to deliver on these objectives.
