Jose Van Rooyen promoted to Profit Centre Manager, Global Casualty for AIG South Africa.

AIG South Africa is pleased to announce that Jose van Rooyen has been promoted to Profit Centre Manager for Global Casualty at AIG South Africa, responsible for leading the division on its continuing growth path. The AIG South African Liability business has grown over the past couple of years to become the largest Liability operation for AIG in the Middle East Africa (MEA) region.

Jose joined AIG in December 2007 as upper CAP Business Development Manager. He moved to the Liability team in early 2009 as Casualty Auto Manager. He was promoted to Casualty Manager in early 2012. Jose has a wealth of experience in insurance spanning over 20 years which includes broking, business development and underwriting.

Eelco van Keimpema who was previously in this position has been promoted to Head of Casualty – Middle East Africa (MEA) and is relocating to Dubai.
