Investec Asset Management appoints Steve Paddon as Managing Director, US Institutional Business
 

Building on their strong institutional success in Southern Africa and the UK, Investec Asset Management is expanding its institutional operations in the US with the appointment of Steve Paddon as Managing Director US Institutional Business. Based in New York, Steve will be responsible for promoting Investec Asset Managements extensive range of offerings in the US market.

Steve joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management in New York where he was a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales and Relationship Management for the Americas. He joined Credit Suisse from State Street Research and Management where he was Vice President, Institutional Sales and Client Service in Boston. Prior to this Steve worked at Metropolitan Life for almost 15 years.

In this newly created role Steve will be responsible for generating investor interest in Investec Asset Management's wide range of Institutional products, including global and regional equities, frontier market strategies, active resources and commodities, currency and fixed income specialist offerings.
