Glenrand MIB appoints Nigel Payne as Independent Non-executive Director

The Board of Glenrand MIB is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Payne as independent non-executive director of Glenrand with effect from 6 December 2006.

Nigel Payne is an independent corporate governance and risk management advisor.
He currently holds various non-executive directorships, and sits on audit and risk management committees in the public and private sectors. These include Bidvest Limited, The JSE Limited, Development Bank of Southern Africa and STRATE Limited amongst others.  Nigel is also a member of the King Committee on Corporate Governance and was the Chairman of the King Committee task groups on Risk Management, Internal Control and Internal Audit.

Nigel will enhance the Glenrand MIB board by assessing and improving Corporate governance procedures and board, committee and governance structures.  He has vast experience in this field having completed more than 40 board appraisals across a wide variety of companies.
