Frank Harpur joins Firedart Executives

Firedart Engineering Underwriting Managers is very pleased to welcome Frank Harpur to the executive team led by Mike Tandy, with effect from 1 May 2016. Frank Joins Firedart from Zurich Insurance where he led the regional sales and market underwriting teams for the Engineering and Marine lines of business and held the position of Regional Sales and Market Underwriting Manager.

Frank has been in the insurance industry for 15 years and joins Firedart at a time that Firedart is celebrating 15 years as a successful and second oldest specialist engineering and construction underwriting agency in the South African market.

Frank holds various sales, marketing, management and technical insurance qualifications from a number of institutions and is a "Licentiate" of the Insurance Institute of South Africa who is currently studying towards his 'Associate' designation. His insurance career has spanned the broking, underwriting and marketing functions of the insurance industry with 9 of the 15 years specifically focussed on Construction and Engineering insurance.

Frank firmly believes in client centricity, deep understanding of client needs and delivering the best products and service to clients in partnership with our brokers. Firedart looks forward to his contribution to the continued success of the business in his role as Executive Director.
