The FPI announced today that Godfrey Nti, the FPI’s Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as the CEO with immediate effect. Godfrey has been acting in the position of CEO since 1 May 2009. Before joining the FPI in 2005, Godfrey was the Financial Director at De Montfort University South Africa and prior to this the Group Finance Director at National Investments and Savings Bank.

“The Board congratulates Godfrey on his appointment and is very proud of the fact that the FPI’s internal succession planning processes have allowed us the opportunity to promote an existing staff member to this very important position. We look forward to working with Godfrey and the FPI team in further developing the financial planning profession.” says Gerhardt Meyer, FPI Chairperson.
