Top private clients wealth management company BoE Private Clients has announced the appointment of Donald Rogan as the head of its Stockbroking division, based in Johannesburg. He previously occupied the position in an acting capacity.

Educated at St Andrews College and Rhodes University, Rogan began his career with Fergusson Bros Hall Stewart and Co in 1993. After Fergusson Bros was acquired by Investec Bank in 1996, he was selected to develop the Bank’s trading, sales and settlement capability in London and to establish a similar financial offering for the Israeli market. In 2000 he was transferred to Carr Sheppards Crossthwaite, the private clients division of Investec Bank London,where he was representative for South African investors wishing to invest offshore.

Returning to South Africa in 2004, Rogan took up the position of Managing Director with The Refinery, a specialist media company, prior to his appointment at BoE Private Clients in 2007.

Rogan is married with three children
