Sharemax Investments Financial Director, Dominique Haese, has been appointed as acting Managing Director of Sharemax Investments (Pty) Ltd as of 1 October 2010. This is supplementary to her current role and responsibilities. Andre Brand retains his role as Chairman of the Sharemax Investments board.
The appointment allows for continued and expedited focus on seeking positive solutions for the investors in the different syndicated property companies, whilst maintaining business as usual and the orderly management of Sharemax. Her appointment also allows for a focussed cooperation with the South African Reserve Bank appointed statutory managers.
The statutory managers have noted the spirit in which this appointment has been made.
