Conrad Tiflin, Group Information Security, Governance and Risk Head at Maitland

Conrad Tiflin has been appointed as Group Information Security, Governance and Risk Head at global advisory, family office and fund administration firm Maitland.

He graduated with an MsC in Computer Science from UWC in 2003 which spanned the research, development and application of machine learning and biometrics for Telkom’s Center of Excellence programme, following which he gained more than 15 years’ experience in senior corporate and consulting roles covering information security, IT security (technical architecture) and risk management, audit and forensics services, and cyber security. Services were rendered through his roles to many South African blue chip corporates, asset managers, tertiary institutions and government institutions.

Conrad holds several professional memberships, including Certified IS Security Professional (ISC)², Information Security Group of Southern Africa, ISACA, and Management of Risk Practitioner (UK).
