Nadia Verappen, compliance officer at Compli-Serve SA

Compli-Serve SA is pleased to welcome Compliance Officer, Nadia Verappen, to its Cape Town team. Nadia has risk management experience within financial services, as well as local and international regulatory expertise.

Nadia holds a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) from UNISA. In 2017 she completed a UCT compliance management course and in 2018, the RE1 regulatory examination for FSPs and key individuals in all categories.

Meanwhile, Nadia began her financial services career in 2007 with Nedbank working her way up through the company until 2012 when she was appointed as Conformance Manager. In 2014, Nadia joined State Street South Africa as an Operational Risk Analyst and was promoted to Business Unit Compliance Consultant in March 2017. She held this position until leaving to join Compli-Serve SA in February 2019.

“We welcome Nadia and the wealth of expertise and experience she brings with her. Her keen interest in risk management will definitely stand her in good stead, and we are happy to have her be a part of the Compli-Serve team,” says Richard Rattue, Managing Director of Compli-Serve SA.
