Compli-Serve SA hires new Compliance Officer

Yurika Pistorius has joined Compli-Serve SA as a Compliance Officer. Compli-Serve is a nationally represented independent provider of regulatory compliance services to the financial services industry and is represented in the Western Cape, Free State, Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal.
She has extensive experience in both the short- and long-term insurance industries both locally and abroad. During her employment with Zurich Insurance Company she worked in Switzerland and Chicago.
A graduate from the University of Pretoria, Pistorius holds a BLC and an LLB. She is a member of the Compliance Institute of South Africa (CISA) and the Corporate Lawyers Association of South Africa (CLASA). Professionally she specialises in legal and compliance risk management as well as corporate governance.
Pistorius’ has been appointed as an external Compliance Officer to provide compliance functions to Financial Services Providers (FSPs). Her role will include identifying, monitoring and reporting on regulatory and compliance risks and she will be involved in regulatory awareness, training and general compliance around rules, laws, codes and regulations.
