CIB is pleased to announce that it has appointed Steven Munro as Financial Director of CIB Insurance Administrators (CIB).

Munro joined CIB over seven years ago and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of sound financial processes. He has achieved this during a period of major changes at CIB as it has grown and evolved. “Steven is a skilled individual who knows how to adapt, and has an innovative approach to finding solutions that simultaneously improves efficiencies. I am confident that he will continue to add significant value to CIB at a more senior and strategic level as the company continues to develop and grow,” says Wilhelm von La Chevallerie, CIB’s newly-appointed MD.

As a qualified Chartered Accountant, Munro has the technical skills and knowledge required to excel in this role. His experience of insurance and reinsurance has grown during his tenure as financial manager and he attributes much of this to the staff and Executive team at CIB.

Von La Chevallerie says, “Steven is very excited to play a more strategic role in CIB’s progression towards achieving its generalist insurance licence and thereby, as a fully-fledged short-term insurer, becoming a significant player within this section of the insurance space.”

Munro believes that the strong foundation which has been laid, and the calibre and skills of the CIB staff combined with its business partners, are set to catapult CIB into an even more successful future.
