Chubb appoints Tirelo Tsheoga as Senior Property Underwriter for ACE Insurance Limited South Africa

In his role, Tirelo will be responsible for underwriting, development and administration of the company’s property insurance portfolio in South Africa. He will handle existing renewals as well as develop and grow the new business portfolio – servicing Chubb’s major global broker partners based in Johannesburg and the Western Cape. He will also provide support and help to further enhance the company’s client service in the onshore energy insurance sector, where it has an active portfolio.

Tirelo has eleven years of relevant insurance industry experience. He joins the company from Mutual and Federal Insurance Company where he spent the majority of his career in various underwriting positions, with the responsibility for production and maintenance of new and existing business. His most recent position prior to joining ACE was Energy & Property Manager: Underwriting and Business Development. Tirelo will be based in the company’s Sandton office and his appointment is effective immediately.
