Chubb appoints Head of Digital for South Africa

Chubb today announced the appointment of Travys Wilkins as Head of Digital for South Africa.

In this new role, Travys will focus on managing the digital strategy for leisure travel insurance in South Africa, where Chubb already has an established portfolio and proven digital capabilities.  He will also spearhead Chubb’s efforts, to build its digital business across a range of consumer products. Travys is based between Cape Town and Chubb’s Sandton office and he will report to Gary Jack, Country President, Chubb South Africa. 

Travys has worked in the financial services industry for 14-years, most recently as an Insurtech entrepreneur. 

Gary Jack, Country President, Chubb Insurance South Africa, said:

“Travys brings the necessary skills and experience in digital insurance distribution to lead our efforts in building fast, smart and contextual digital insurance solutions.  I am excited to have Travys on board and wish him well in his new role.”
