Corrie de Bruyn, currently serving as CEO of PSG Wealth, will join the PSG Wealth Pretoria East advisory office as partner on 1 May 2016, in a move that will bolster the talent and experience at the office while allowing PSG to retain a valuable asset in senior management.
After 10 years in various executive roles within PSG Wealth, Corrie has decided to return to his roots and take up his passion for direct wealth management. PSG Wealth Pretoria East is the largest advisory office within PSG Wealth, with assets of just under R18 billion under management (and R3 billion under administration) for private individuals as well as institutional clients. The office has 70 employees, of which 18 are Certified Financial Planners®. Half of the office’s managed assets are local and international share portfolios, and Corrie’s extensive experience in this field will further strengthen the office’s experience bank.
Corrie is qualified as a chartered accountant and registered stockbroker and has occupied various different managerial roles within PSG over the past 10 years. He previously served as a director of Advance Wealth Management (which later became part of PSG) for eight years, and for the 10 years prior he served in various senior financial roles.
