CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW PR AND MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR

Caryn Talmage has been appointed as the new PR and marketing coordinator for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. In December 2005 she was employed by Centriq as a personal assistant to Neil Ashcroft, Head of Business Development: Corporate and Structured Products as well as Karen Miller, Head of Business Development: Volume and the Business Development Team. During Caryns employ in this position she gained much experience in organising events.

Her main field of expertise is managing and coordinating Centriqs PR profile as well as staff and client functions.

 

CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Lindiwe Sekobo has been appointed as the new financial accountant for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. She holds a BCom (Accounting) Degree and was previously employed by the North West Provincial Internal Audit as an internal auditor. Her fields of expertise include accounting and auditing. Lindiwe is determined on ensuring that Centriq meets is mission of client centricity by doing more than meeting clients needs.

 




CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW LEGAL OFFICER

Hilda Motsepe has been appointed as the new legal officer for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. She holds a Baccalaureus Procurationis (BProc) from the University of KZN and a post graduate diploma in Drafting and Interpretation of Contracts from the University of Johannesburg. Hilda has eleven years experience in the insurance industry with the last four years in structured risk finance insurance. Before joining Centriq, she was Assistant Manager for the Group Insurance Division of Transnet.

Her fields of expertise include contract administration and management, claims handling - including the management of litigation in respect of those claims, ombudsman complaints and general legal administration. Hilda is a team player and derives great satisfaction from working in a motivated and successful team.





CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Renasia Williams has been appointed as the new financial accountant for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. Her qualifications include a BCom (Accounting) Degree, an ICiBS (Intermediate Certificate in Business Studies) and a Certificate of Proficiency (COP).

Renasias field of expertise is accounting and the analysis of financial statements. She has previous work experience as a Trainee Accountant (Articles) at HLB Prangleys, as well as costing, analysis and interpretation of production variances at Entrprise Foods (FMCG) and as a specialist in business interruption insurance, gross profit calculations and claim formulation at Alexander Forbes Risk Services.

CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW CONTROLLER: CLIENT ACCOUNTS

Janine Gelbart has been appointed as the new Controller: Client Accounts for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. Her qualifications include a BCom majoring in internal auditing and accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand, Certificate of Proficiency (COP) and an ICiBS (Intermediate Certificate in Business Studies) through the Insurance Institute of South Africa.

Janine was previously employed by Grant Thornton Kessel Feinstein where she gained experience in internal auditing and external auditing. I am dedicated and determined to ensure that I a play a positive role with regards to Centriq achieving its overall goals, says Janine.


CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW GROUP COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Tohier Jappie has been appointed as the new Group Compliance Officer for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. He holds a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand. Tohiers field of expertise is as a legal advisor and compliance officer to financial services providers in the insurance industry. His previous work experience includes Smit and Lowndes Attorneys, Liberty Group Limited, Discovery Life Limited, FIC (regulator) and Mayibuye Group Limited.

Tohier has a series of professional achievements in creating compliance arrangements and the understanding of the impact of these arrangements in business processes and the necessities and purposes thereof. He also has professional experience in corporate governance and business ethics cultures on his track record.


 


CENTRIQ APPOINTS NEW HR CO-ORDINATOR

Leila Abed has been appointed as the new Human Resource coordinator for Centriq, South Africas first black empowered risk finance insurance group. She holds a qualification in Human Resource Management and has nine years of HR experience. She was initially employed as a personal assistant to the Financial Director in Centriqs HR department in which she gained experience in all aspects of the HR field. I am very excited about my new role because not only do I think I have a lot to offer, but I thoroughly enjoy the people I work with and I look forward to being able to keep staff excited and motivated about working for Centriq, says Abed.
