Carl Roothman is the newly appointed Managing Director of HealthCorp

Carl Roothman has been appointed to the position of Managing Director of HealthCorp, a division of Bathabile Holdings.

Through its investment strategy, HealthCorp, a leading black economic empowerment investment company has always aimed at promoting healthcare entrepreneurship, challenging inefficient industry practices and driving the consolidation of private healthcare.

The newly appointed Roothman will be responsible for the cohesive strategies of HealthCorp; business deals throughout the HealthCorp group and ensuring that HealthCorp reach joint targets as set out in well defined business plans.

"During Carl's time as Managing Director of Calabash Health Solutions and prior to that as our representative at Investec Private Bank, he proved himself as a leader that understands the business strategies required to build a strong and forward thinking group of healthcare companies a definite need in the South African Healthcare Industry," says Nana Magomola, Chairperson of Bathabile Holdings.

"I feel extremely excited about the changes that are taking place within the group, and confident about assuming my new role in HealthCorp," concluded Roothman.
