Niven is well-versed in a range of key disciplines. Originally qualified as a lawyer, he holds an LLB from the University of the Western Cape. He also has a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification, an MBA ( Bond University) and a Masters degree in Tax law (UCT). His experience is strongly rooted in financial services, and he has held strategic and senior roles in Old Mutual, RMB Private Bank and FNB over the past 18 years.
