Jurie van der Merwe named Wealth Manager at BJM PCS

Barnard Jacobs Mellet Private Client Services has appointed Jurie van der Merwe (pictured 1) as Wealth Manager with immediate effect. He was previously a Client Advisor at UBS Wealth Management and prior to that worked as an Investment Specialist at Investec Securities.

Van der Merwe is a Chartered Financial Planner and holds a B.Comm and an MBA degree.

Kunze appointed Relationship Manager at BJM PCS

Nicholas Kunze (pictured 2) has been appointed Relationship Manager at Barnard Jacobs Mellet Private Client Services (BJM PCS). He was previously Head of CFD Sales at Nedbank Capital and prior to that worked at Anglorand Asset Management.

Kunze entered the financial services industry in London in 1993 at Goldman Sachs International. He is a qualified trader with the International Securities Exchange, LIFFE, OM, Eurex and the European Derivatives Exchange and holds the Securities Institute of London certificate in securities and derivatives.

Hearn appointed Relationship Manager at BJM PCS

Barnard Jacobs Mellet Private Client Services has appointed Kenneth Hearn (pictured 3) as a relationship manager in their Constantia office, with immediate effect.

He was previously a financial analyst with Amba Research of Costa Rica and entered the financial services industry as an internship auditor with PWC. He holds a BSC (Hons) in finance and accounting from the University of Cape Town.
