Bestmed Medical Scheme appoints new acting CEO

Bestmed Board of Trustees (BOT) has appointed Pieter van Zyl, currently Executive Manager: Operations and Human Resources as Acting CEO and Principal Officer following Dries la Grange’s decision to take early retirement.
“Pieter van Zyl has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience, we are confident that he will continue driving growth and ensure efficient service delivery to all our members and stakeholders” says Fred Camphor, Bestmed BoT Chairperson.
Camphor also confirmed that the BoT will start looking at a permanent appointment in due time.
