Ashraf Mohamed takes on new role at STANLIB

shraf Mohamed has been appointed Portfolio Manager with special focus on socially responsible investment at STANLIB, the country's largest unit trust company.

He was previously a head of portfolio management at Futuregrowth Asset Management and prior to that was a financial and investment consultant to a number of unlisted companies. Asraf Mohamed has held executive positions at several financial service groups, including HSBC Simpson McKie, Greenwich Asset Management, Franklin Templeton, Nedcor Investment Bank and Abvest Associates.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a B.Com. from the University of Cape Town.
