Appointment of a new MD for Travel Insurance Consultants

The Chairman of TIC, Eric Wadsworth and the Board of Directors have announced that Jason Veitch has been appointed Managing Director of TIC with effect 01 July 2010.

George Novis, TIC’s MD since 1994, will hand over his executive and operational responsibilities at TIC on 30 June, but he will remain as a non executive director of the Company.

Jason joined TIC as General Manager in November 2004 and has since been involved in all areas of the Company including client services.

Jason has both a BCompt and MBA degree, is married to Claire and they have a son James.

The Company is well positioned to continue providing the best products and service to the industry and to take advantage of exciting market opportunities. In line with Jason’s experience his appointment as Managing Director will be a seamless process.
