Alida Jordaan to join OMIGSA

Old Mutual Investment Group South Africa (OMIGSA) is pleased to announce that well-known fund manager Alida Jordaan will be joining its Macro Strategy Investments boutique in August 2007.

Announcing the appointment on Wednesday, Peter Brooke, Head of OMIGSAs Macro Strategy Investments boutique, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Alida to our team. In her 13 years in the South African investment industry, she has established a reputation as an excellent portfolio manager and equity analyst, managing some top-performing funds. We are certain she will add value to our existing team of seven strategists, analysts and portfolio managers."

The Macro Strategy Investments boutique manages portfolios combining multiple asset classes with the aim of achieving different risk-return profiles (aggressive, balanced and conservative) to meet its clients requirements. Besides providing outcome-based solutions, it also has a proven ability to meet and outperform specific asset class benchmarks, with over 80 years of combined investment experience.
