Alexander Forbes appoints new head of finance for Afrinet

AfriNet, Alexander Forbes’ business providing financial and risk services for its clients in Africa, has appointed Ntobeka Nyawo head of finance with immediate effect.

Nyawo has been a senior consultant for Alexander Forbes Financial Services and worked for De Beers prior to joining the company. He holds a BComm Honours in accounting from the University of Natal, qualifying in 2005 as one of the youngest black chartered accountants in the history of South Africa at the age of 23.

Looking forward to the challenges his new job will present, Nyawo said: “Improving growth rates and a positive outlook for the economies around the continent offers exciting opportunities to enlarge Alexander Forbes’ footprint in Africa.”
