AIG appoints Hantie van Heerden as Head Actuary

AIG South Africa Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Hantie van Heerden to the position of Head Actuary.

Hantie joins AIG from the FSB where she was Head of Department for Actuarial Insurance.
Wayne Abraham, acting General Manager, says the company is pleased to fill the role with an individual of van Heerden’s calibre. “With nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry, van Heerden is capable and highly qualified. In this position, she will play a key role in helping AIG to achieve its goals of right-priced, sustainable insurance solutions.”
