ACE South Africa promotes Milenko Skoro to the new role of Head of Distribution for Sub-Saharan Africa

ACE Insurance South Africa today announced that Milenko Skoro, Head of Sales and Distribution A&H, has been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Distribution, Sub-Saharan Africa as the company continues to strengthen its insurance capabilities in the region.

In this newly created role, Milenko will be responsible for strengthening ACE’s presence in Sub-Saharan Africa. Working closely with the company’s underwriting team, he will focus on generating profitable growth for ACE through effective new product development and distribution through reinsurance arrangements with locally licensed partners in the region.

Milenko has more than nine years of insurance industry experience. He joined ACE from Etana, where he was Head of Accident and Health. Previous to that he held several management roles at AIG.

Milenko will remain based in ACE’s Sandton office, reporting to Gary Jack, County President for ACE South Africa. His appointment is effective immediately.
