ACE appoints Charles Moriarty as Property Risk Engineer for South Africa

ACE Group today announced the appointment, effective immediately, of Charles Moriarty as Risk Engineer for South Africa, as the company continues to build its property insurance proposition for corporate clients in the country and across Sub-Saharan Africa.

In his role, Charles will help ACE’s corporate clients to develop local, regional or multinational risk management programmes. In addition to visiting clients’ premises to assess potential hazards and risk mitigation, Charles will also assist the local ACE underwriting and claims teams on technical matters.

Charles has more than ten years of insurance industry and risk management experience. He joins ACE from Marsh Risk Consultancy where he held the position of Senior Risk Consultant. He will be based in ACE’s Sandton office, reporting to Brian Partridge, Head of Technical and Portfolio Management, Property for ACE in South Africa.
