10X Investments has appointed Bianca Baillie to the newly created role of head of the Client Experience Team as the company continues to build on efforts to wow customers.

Baillie, who takes up the position from January, joined the company three and a half years ago as executive assistant to the chief executive, Steven Nathan, and has since expanded her role significantly.

“Initially Bianca just looked after me but soon (on her own initiative) she broadened her portfolio to include managing several aspects of our office, assisting marketing, helping with events and supporting many other people and departments,” Nathan said.

“Bianca is always looking for new challenges. She almost single-handedly managed our huge Cape Town office renovations last year and performed most of the company secretarial work for our recent fund raise, including working with lawyers, advisors and investors.”

In her new role Baillie will be working with the core customer service team to build on the existing culture and continue to enhance customer experience. The Client Experience Team, the main point of contact for clients, handles a myriad of queries for 10X clients, from helping to increase contributions to making a claim. The team also helps to educate customers on how to manage their affairs more effectively with online tools offered by the 10X portal.

Baillie said: “I’m excited for the challenge of leading the Client Experience team, tapping into clients’ needs and offering a bespoke 10X experience.”

On a personal note, Nathan said, he would miss Bianca “making my life much easier”, but he was confident that she would enjoy her new position and excel at it.

“Bianca has a passion for excellence in everything she does, and cares deeply about people and our clients,” he added.
