LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION…THE INSURANCE APPRENTICE TAKES TWO With much anticipation, filming of The Insurance Apprentice 2016 has begun at the FNB Conference and Learning Centre. Viewers are in for a big treat this year as new twists and turns are set to bring in a whole new ball game for the apprentices; from contestants to personalities, to judges and tasks. Having had six apprentices from very different backgrounds last year, the game has been amped this year to bring in more action, entertainment and education. The X Factor The second series will see eight apprentices; Alicia Narainsamy, Andre Brooks, Celina Bhima, Chris Caalsen, Karabo Kopeka, Priya Govender, Richard Cunliffe and Unathi Ntengo competing against each other in an intense five day learning experience, to be crowned the winner of The Insurance Apprentice 2016 and walk away with a fantastic prize of a trip to Lloyds of London, sponsored by Lloyds of London and a bursary, sponsored by Inseta, to further their studies. Three of the eight participants will also get the privilege of being sponsored online short-courses from the list of available courses across Milpark Education which includes: Project Management; Income Tax Refresher; Supply Chain Management; Human Resources Management; Estate Planning; Finance for Non-Financial Managers; New Venture Creation; Financial Planning Products; Fundamentals of Marketing; Business Management and Investment Analysis. Twists and turns Like the first series, the apprentices face a challenging week of tasks and intense grilling from the panellists, as they try to mark their spot and prove that they are the best. Added to this, and setting the bar higher, the elimination process will be very different to the one last year. Two people will see the harsh judgment of the panellists as they face elimination possibly on day one, two or three. The fun part is that the cat cannot be let out of the bag. Or rather, the beans cannot be spilled as the judges will only determine who will be leaving on the day they deem necessary, which is all the more reason for you, the viewer, to watch the series once episodes start running in February. Filming will conclude on 15 January 2016 and the series is expected to be released mid-end February on The Insurance Apprentice and FAnews websites, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook pages.
