Medical schemes’ average increases for 2016

November and December are busy months for medical schemes as tariff increases for the following year are published, and changes on options are made.

According to the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS), the registered medical schemes in South
Africa are in a healthy financial state and continue to provide sufficient financing for private medical care.
