Astute to provide Momentum Wealth information

One of our readers recently asked us why Momentum Wealth collective Investment information wasn't available, so we asked Astute.

According to Angelo Hatzikyriacos, technology executive at Astute FSE, the exchange recently completed their annual customer research survey.

It appears from the findings that there is an increasing demand from intermediaries to obtain investment information via Astute, and follows the record net inflows into investment products, as reported recently by the Association of Collective Investments.

The provision of collective investments information currently covers Sanlam Unit Trusts and Old Mutual Unit Trusts. As part of this process, the exchange has had discussions with Momentum Wealth and Hatzikyriacos reports that the Momentum Wealth products will be available online soon.

Hatzikyriacos confirms that they will talk to other product providers to increase the collective investment information offering.

Editor's thoughts:
* A strange thing happened on the way to the colosseum. We asked Astute to provide information about Momentum Wealth, and lo and behold but a couple of days later the deal was done. Amazing coincidence that.
* There does appear to a fairly wide range of satisfaction levels, based on the emails we receive from readers, and hopefully the exchange will take all criticism as constructive.
