The Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer: Open for investments

We’re pleased to announce that the Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer is open for investments from 7 February to 25 March.

The Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer is a five-year, tax-efficient, structured investment that lets investors grow their capital with the certainty of capital protection, but also lets them access companies that contribute to global sustainable development. The Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer is set up in a sinking fund policy underwritten by Sanlam Life Insurance Limited.

The last issue of the Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer for 2021 was traded on 8 December with BNP Paribas – securing 700%, or 7 times, participation in positive returns of the underlying index for investors over its five-year investment term.

This is a really positive outcome for clients seeking to enhance upside while protecting their capital over a five-year term.

Do good while doing well with the Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer

BNP Paribas is as committed to sustainability as we are, and we are proud to partner with them on a reforestation project. Through the previous issue of the Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer, they were able to plant just over 10 000 trees as part of this project.

They have collaborated with Reforst’Action, an international organisation working with two local companies, and the goal is to restore the ecosystem of identified areas in the Eastern Cape by planting more than 500 000 Spekboom seeds during the launch phase (2020-2021) and 25 million trees during the phase thereafter. Spekboom is a local species which is essential to the ecological functioning of the region.
