State Street Global Advisors expands fund range to South African investors
State Street Global Advisors, the asset management business of State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), today announces the registration of eight funds under Section 65 of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act within South Africa.
The registration opens access to these funds to local investors. Market appetite in South Africa is increasingly looking for offshore diversification, sustainable investing solutions and cost-efficient index solutions. In response to investor demand, the newly registered funds equip local wealth managers, private banks, institutional investors, and family offices with institutional quality solutions, including:
• Liquidity & Cash Management Solutions – Providing USD liquidity options for corporate and institutional clients.
• Global Equity Exposure – Offering investors access to global markets through well-diversified, systematically managed equity strategies.
• Fixed Income Strategies – Enabling diversified portfolio construction with access to global bond markets.
