A new arrow in the quiver of Prescient Investment Management

The demand for more conservative funds increased under the current environment where political risk is high and market valuations inflated.  Investors needs safety.

The Prescient Absolute Defensive Fund is a low-risk low-equity balanced fund launched on 30 June 2017.  The Fund aims to deliver stable income with some participation in equity markets to enhance the potential long term growth.  In addition, the Fund offers exposure to unique investment opportunities in renewable energy inflation linked bonds, incorporating the benefits of diversification and inflation protection.

The Prescient Absolute Defensive Fund targets an annual return of inflation plus 4% over the long term while aiming to protect capital over rolling 12 month periods.

A significant portion of the Fund is allocated to high quality income generating instruments, similar to those used in the award-winning Prescient Income Provider Fund, a fund that has been comfortably beating inflation since it was launched more than 11 years ago.
