Novare Investment Solutions launched

René Miles has been appointed CEO of Novare Investment Solutions. She commented: "Novare took a strategic decision to expand the range of solutions offered to its clients.

 

"In future we will, through our own licensed entities, offer products like unit trusts, retail retirement vehicles and post retirement solutions. These will be rolled out during the course of 2014 as we obtain the required licences.”

 

Ms Miles started her career in 1992 as an advocate for the Johannesburg Bar before joining Liberty Life in 1996 where she held various positions including regional legal adviser, regional development manager and regional broker division manager. As head of independent broker sales, she was responsible for setting up an independent broker division in Charter Life, a subsidiary of Liberty Life.

 

She joined PSG Group in 2000 as head of legal, compliance and product development. In 2002 she was appointed MD of PSG Escher Life and, in 2004, became director of investments, legal, compliance and human resources at Channel Life. In 2006 Ms Miles was appointed MD of PSG FutureWealth, and in 2010 she was promoted to MD of the life, LISP and unit trust business of PSG Asset Management Administration Services.
