Milestone reached...

20 December 2004 Angelo Coppola

The fund was launched on 9 December 2002 to meet the demand for property investments in balanced investment portfolios.

Portfolio manager Malcolm Holmes says investors in the fund not only gain access to the property market but also benefit from the fund’s multi-manager approach.

The portfolio is currently evenly split between the Income Specialists at Marriot Properties and Standard Bank Properties.

The multi-manager approach has given investors a further option in a market where demand exceeds supply.

“Should this rapid growth continue, we may be required to cap the fund to maintain investment flexibility for the underlying managers.”
