Chris Liebenberg, a non-executive director of Old Mutual plc, retired from the board of Old Mutual plc on 2 October 2004 upon reaching the age of seventy.
He also then ceased to be a member of the company's nomination committee.
He had been a director of the company since March 1999, and was until earlier this year chairman of the company's 53%-owned banking subsidiary, Nedcor Limited.
