Launch of Rezco Stable Fund
Rezco Asset Management has launched a new unit trust fund, the Rezco Stable Fund, to join its existing suite of unit trusts. This brings the number of Rezco Asset Management unit trust options to four. The outstanding characteristic of the Rezco investment performance over the past 10 years has been excellent risk adjusted returns for its clients.
The Rezco Stable Fund was launched in May 2015, and has the JSE Code REST. This fund will appeal to investors seeking stable and consistent returns with a lower equity exposure.
The Rezco Stable Fund is in the SA Multi-Asset Low Equity ASISA Peer Group Category. These portfolios invest in a spectrum of investments in the equity, bond, money or property markets. Multi-Asset Low Equity unit trusts tend to display reduced short-term volatility, and aim for long-term capital growth.
The Rezco Stable Fund will have an effective equity exposure (including international equity) below 40% at all times. A maximum of 25% can be invested offshore. The unit trust conforms to legislation governing retirement portfolios, namely Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act, and is thus suitable as an investment vehicle for retirement and pension portfolios.
The Rezco Stable Fund will have lower risk and lower potential returns than the long established Rezco Value Trend Fund. The other Rezco Asset Management unit trust funds are the Rezco Prudential Fund, and the Rezco Equity Fund.
